Stay at 12 Ridges Vineyard in Vesuvius, Virginia
A high-elevation vineyard stay with private homes, cool-climate wines and panoramic Blue Ridge Mountain views.
Why Stay Here
12 Ridges Vineyard offers one of the more dramatic vineyard settings in Virginia.
Perched at 3,300 feet along the Blue Ridge Parkway, the property combines rows of vines with sweeping mountain views in nearly every direction.
Guests can stay directly on the property, enjoy the vineyard and tasting room during the day, and experience the quiet of the mountain after the vineyard closes.
The Vineyard
12 Ridges is a high-altitude vineyard specializing in cool-climate grape varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Pinot Gris.
Approximately 12 acres are planted with wine grapes, and the elevation creates cooler growing conditions than the valleys below.
The vineyard sits directly along the Blue Ridge Parkway, making the mountain landscape as much a part of the experience as the wine itself.
The Lodging
12 Ridges offers two private homes on the vineyard property.
The Vineyard House sits at the heart of the winery, just steps from the grapevines and tasting room. It has three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and sleeps up to six guests.
The Mountain House is a contemporary glass-and-timber retreat tucked farther into the property. It also has three bedrooms, sleeps six and offers expansive views across the surrounding mountains.
